"Heaven Sent" With Mediums Anastassia Grace & Candace Dalton
Friday, October 1st, 2010,
7PM-9:30PM, at THE ALLEY THEATRE
133 Centre Street, Middleboro, Massachusetts
 |
Middleboro: On Friday, October 1st, 2010, from 7PM-9:30PM, at THE ALLEY THEATRE in Middleboro, The Committee To Elect State Representative Tom Calter will be hosting the fund raising event "Heaven Sent, Messages from Above" with Spirit Messengers Anastassia Grace & Candace Dalton. Anastassia and Candace have been developing their skill since a young age and are trained by their aunt, nationally renowned medium, Maureen Hancock. Maureen Hancock has recently signed with Disney/ABC for her own television show, which will feature the inherited gifts of Anastassia and Candace.
Excited to share their special ability with the world, these talented mediums make powerful audience to spirit connections through validations such as names, personalities, dates, and much more. Anastassia Grace is an intuitive spirit messenger, medium, and healer. She started reading people at a very young age. This gift has run throughout generations of her family. At the age of sixteen her aunt (renowned medium Maureen Hancock) sat her down to see if she had the same gift. Anastassia delivered messages with strong accuracy and has been honing her skills ever since. With the help of her aunt, Anastassia continued to offer spirit readings through college, at private readings and house parties. In her final year of college, Anastassia's younger brother, and best friend, Sean received his angel wings. It was in this precise moment that Anastassia fully understood the magnitude of her gift. Recognizing that love and life are truly eternal, Anastassia strives to pass along messages of hope.
Even as a young child, Candace Dalton believed in spirits and life after life. For as long as she can remember, Miss Dalton has had an awareness of things before they happened, including details and messages from the other side. After the loss of her aunt Pamela, Candace received loving messages and felt her presence. When she was fourteen years old, her cousin Sean Ewas passed. After his death, her ability to communicate with the other side grew stronger. Candace's aunt, well known medium Maureen Hancock, helped her discover, develop, and channel her talent. When in school, teachers would give Candace "get out of class" passes to perform readings. Miss Dalton's light, funny, and amazingly accurate validations deliver hope to those suffering loss.
After attending a Heaven Sent, Messages from Above event, audiences walk away certain their loved ones are with them in spirit.
State Representative Thomas J. Calter represents residents of the 12th Plymouth District, including Kingston and Plympton, and parts of Middleborough, Duxbury, Halifax, and Plymouth.Tickets are $50.00 per person (payable to The Committe To Elect Tom Calter), and are general admission. Olivia, Sadie and Harry help on site! |
Dear Friends,
We are very excited to announce that The Burt Wood School of Performing Arts will be moving to 133 Centre Street in downtown Middleboro! This September, classes will begin in our new location. This fully equipped performing arts center will allow us to expand our curriculum, host many events throughout the year, and serve as a rental opportunity for patrons in need of space. Our commitment to community service is what sets us apart from all other performing arts venues in the area. In the spirit of giving, we invite you to participate in The Honor for ART Project.
To bring The Burt Wood School of Performing Arts to the next level, we are launching a vast fundraising campaign called The Honor for ART Project. Patrons are invited to help advance our school by naming parts of the facility after those whose lives have been influenced by art. Donations to our project will be recognized on matted and framed wall hangings which will be displayed throughout the school. Honor someone you love (or a film star or celebrity) by dedicating a new classroom, studio, chair, or piece of equipment in their name. Together, we can build a haven for generations of artists to come. Attached please find additional information on this project.
Yours in the spirit of building a more cultured community,

The talented director — along with his cast — will create, produce and edit a short film or video in just 48 hours. The project is a thrilling challenge for all level actors, (of all ages) as they must be ready for anything during the two-day production process.
The 48 Hour Film Project will take place over the weekend of May 1st and 2nd, with each team being given a "theme" via an object that must appear in all scenes of the movie. Over the following 48 hours, the teams must not only come up with a plot and script, but must film all of the scenes, produce and edit the film, with the final product being submitted by Sunday, May 2nd, 2010.
Filmmakers from all over New England will participate in the Boston-based division of the competition, with winners from the project then going on to compete against entries from all around the world for the title "Best 48 Hour Film Project of 2010." Screenings for all films will be premiered at the Kendall Square Cinema in Cambridge, located on 370 Binney Street, later in May.
For Burt Wood students, cost to participate in the weekend event is $50 each; for non-Burt Wood students, cost will be $75 each. Filming for the event will be held in Middleboro only. More information about the project itself can be found on www.48hourfilm.com. To participate, call the office at 508-946-1071 or download a registration form at burtwoodschool.com under UPCOMING EVENTS or FILM PROJECTS. Deadline for all paperwork is April 26, 2010. to direct GODSPELL |
Having grown up with a passion for the arts, Middleboro native Melissa (Ferguson) Donnelly is the perfect choice to once again direct the Burt Wood School Summer Arts Festival annual production. Celebrating her tenth year as director for the summer production, Melissa has filled those shoes in 2000 with the show “Oliver”, 2001: “Bye Bye, Birdie”, 2002: “Anything Goes”, 2004: “Footloose”, 2006: “Those Summer Nights”, 2007: “High School Musical”, 2008: "Thoroughly Modern Millie, 2009: "The Wiz," 2010: "Thank You For the Music". She has also directed fall musicals at the bustling cultural arts center, including “Music Man Jr.”, “Godspell Jr.” and “Into the Woods Jr.”.
A voice, acting and pageant preparation teacher at The Burt Wood School, Donnelly recently earned a Master’s Degree in Education from Cambridge College. She is on staff at the Hanson Middle School, where she is a Special Education teacher. Melissa has an extensive background in music, both academically and professionally. After receiving her degree in vocal performance from Hofstra University where she made numerous stage appearances as a soloist, Melissa then went on to perform locally, regionally and nationally. She has continued to perform locally as a soloist and as part of a local trio that performs an original version of The National Anthem, having appeared in several New England venues including Gillette Stadium, Fenway Park and Mohegan Sun.
“I can’t wait for another Burt Wood summer,” the talented performer/teacher/director exclaims. “We are all working towards the same goal and no matter what age you are, you bond because you rely on each other to make the show a success. That’s what makes our summers so special.” Auditions will be held on Tuesday, June 15th at The Burt Wood School.
